The Company

Our client is a leading name in telecommunications in the burgeoning Middle East region. In a short space of time, the company has been recognised for excellence in customer service and delivery. Headquartered in Dubai, the brand offers mobile and fixed telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV services to individuals, homes and businesses.

The Role

Improved sophistication in Performance Management is very much at the heart of the talent team’s medium-term objectives. A need has arisen for a senior, credible and sharp Performance Management Director to help drive this change, both operationally and strategically. Accountability for measuring, monitoring, reporting and analysing performance will be central to this role. The position will also require facilitation of management reviews and follow up on improvement actions. Strong communication is needed across the organisation to align employees with the strategic priorities of the company in this area.

The Individual

A quick-witted, analytical mind is essential here. You will be expected to build & maintain professional relationships with the business vertically and provide business and industry insights across the board. As such, a minimum 10 years’ experience in planning, reporting, and performance management is expected, and affiliation to the telco sector would be of great interest.

Unless the advertisement specifies otherwise, only HR Professionals who are legally able to work in this country can be considered.

Head of Performance Management
Potential upsides
The role will allow close daily interaction with a wealth of Functional Heads across the business. This is far from being a “back-room”-based position.
Potential downsides
The ability to process heavy amounts of data is crucial, as is a quick analysis and translation into business action.
