We are currently looking for a strong HR Business Partner to support the Americas Manufacturing & Supply Chain business. This position will be based in New Jersey, but requires frequent travel to operating plants across the US and LATAM
Reporting to the US based Vice President, Human Resources for Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain and dotted line to the VP Operations, you will execute the Americas HR strategy in line with the strategic and operational demands of the business. Ultimate responsibility will be to drive talent development and engagement across a multi-site population of 7,000 employees spanning the US and LATAM which includes a small unionized workforce. This person will be a key interface between the business unit HR lead, CoE (Center of Excellence) teams and onshore HR Services. Key duties include deploying leadership development and workforce planning strategies and enhancing employee and labor relations. You will also play a key role supporting M&A and integration initiatives as the business landscape continues to evolve.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR Generalist with a blue chip multinational manufacturing background in Pharmaceuticals. Industrial, Chemicals, Engineering or Consumer Goods industries. He/She will demonstrate a blend of strategic and tactical business partnering with a strong bent toward talent and workforce planning. Strong Employee and Labor Relations skills are essential, including negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements and providing Union avoidance training. Strong communication skills and a track record of influencing stakeholders is essential. Tenure in an organization going through large scale change and transformation is desirable as is some international experience.
