The Company

Our client is a leading public company in the consumer goods sector with global revenues in excess of $3bn. We have assisted this organization with recent HR leadership hires in Europe and as a result, have the opportunity to work with the CHRO again to help secure an experienced HR Operations Lead for the Americas business. The Americas business is approximately 5,000 people. The HR function has been going through a recent transformation toward a CoE and HR Services construct and is now looking to improve the connection, communication and quality of analytics between these key areas. This position is based in New York.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of HR Operations and Shared Services, the HR Americas Lead will work closely with HR Business Leads across 4 key business units and the heads of CoEs across Talent, Leaning & Development and Rewards. The overriding goal is to drive organizational efficiencies through improving HR processes. You will play an integral role in designing, developing and implementing an HR Services platform. This will include defining specific HR service standards and ensuring efficient administration of HR service delivery. He/She will also act as regional project leader for a global roll-out of a new HRIS. Other key projects will include improving onboarding programs, compensation planning and benefits administration, mobility initiatives, compliance management and supporting learning operations teams. There is also an expectation that he or she will provide support to a new HR Analytics function under the Talent CoE. This role would suit an HR professional who has a passion for driving efficiency through collaboration.  

The Individual

The successful candidate will be an HR Generalist or current HR Operations lead with experience in fast moving, highly matrixed multinational companies. A background in the consumer goods industry is preferred. First-rate stakeholder management and the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels of the organization will be essential to success. Strong influencing and project management skills, as well as an ability to think creatively and strategically are desirable. Previous experience building an HR Service model from the ground up is highly desirable as is previous experience implementing an HRIS.
