A global manufacturer in the Automotive sector, operating in over 25 countries internationally. A leader in Automotive technology, this role will be based predominantly in Yokohama.
You will have oversight of the development and implementation of HR policy across the Japan business. This individual will manage the day-to-day operational HR function, namely; recruitment, retention, employee relations, compensation & benefit, training and communication. You will strategize and coordinate talent pipelining, employee branding and the overall recruitment lifecycle to ensure the best talent is identified and retained to meet the business requirements. You will have oversight of HR strategy, aligned with global and domestic targets. Ensure compliance to all the Company’s Legal & Ethical obligations. You will also be expected to work with the regional/global HR leadership in order to develop the broader HR strategy across the business.
This individual needs to be an agile HR generalist capable of dealing with a range of tough senior stakeholders. You must be technically adept and have strong relationship building skills. You must have a strong background in a generalist HR capacity, ideally within multinational environments, working with diverse teams of individuals with exposure to international projects.
