The Company

We are delighted to have assisted this organization in securing a number of key global HR leaders, and are now pleased to be helping with the next level of development: building out the Americas talent strategy. After the recent hire of a Global Head of Talent, this U.S. headquartered global multinational is continuing its progressive people strategy with a sharp focus on improving leadership development. There will also be a focus on talent and learning capabilities across the U.S, Canada and Latin America. This role could be based in either New York or Chicago.

The Role

Reporting to the CHRO Americas with a dotted line to the Global Head of Talent, you will lead the regional strategy and execution of an integrated global Talent Management strategy. This will include all aspects of Talent Management, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition. The platform will run across geographies and lines of business, and will leverage best practices and local flexibility. To achieve this, you will need to assess and diagnose current organizational needs and design an approach to deliver the platform, Key responsibilities will include leading direct reports across the main areas of Learning & Development and Recruitment, and developing and implementing programs that are aligned with global and regional talent priorities. Key deliverables are to build leadership development, succession planning, HIPO and workforce analytics strategies and programs that attract diverse talent. Furthermore, you will implement employee learning strategies to ensure that the organization is sufficiently skilled to effectively execute current and future business needs.  

The Individual

You will need to possess demonstrable experience in designing and rolling out regional Talent Management strategies within a highly matrixed environment. You will have a proven track record in enhancing training and development for all levels of employees including job-specific, managerial, leadership development and training. You will also demonstrate a sound working knowledge of talent attraction strategies and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. First-rate communication skills are a prerequisite. Above all, you must thrive within a change environment and feel excited by the challenges faced therein.
